Wednesday, September 29th, 2010As I was standing and praying in front of the abortion clinic, yesterday, I thought that this is not enough. We can’t just stop abortion and expect the problem to be solved. It goes far deeper than that when we value our personal rights above those of another. My rights end where yours begin. Our national motto seems to be It’s all about me! not In God We Trust.
We need to change our mindset and value life and learn self-control. Education is important and God’s plan for the family is the best. How do we get this message where it is needed?
Many people believe that if it’s legal, it must be acceptable. This did not apply in slavery, or in civil rights, and it doesn’t apply in abortion, as Dr. Alveeda King shares. We must make a proclamation that the innocent are being slaughtered wholesale for profit and convenience. When we repent, God promises that He will heal our land.
Since pregnancy can be prevented, this “choice” should be made before a child is conceived. Abortion is NOT a necessary evil. There is no such thing.
